I seriously love photographing these kiddos. They are always so sweet, well behaved and happy. Plus they make me laugh with their accents. (People still tell me I have my East Texas accent these days, but I’m not sure about that!) Poor P had this awful cold the day of our shoot, but she was a trooper and pushed through. Of course, her mom let me know that the following week, the rest of the fam came down with the same junk. Isn’t that how it goes? Ugh, being sick is the worst.
Anyway, this was the 2nd time this year I had the opportunity to photograph them, and I think the 3rd time overall. This mom does such a fab job with color and layering, which always helps the photos pop a little more and come to life. Fall is all about texture, so I loved the fur and vest details. She also had a cool idea for some glitter blowing, which we tried at the end of the session. I knew the whole “blowing glitter at the camera” thing was way harder than it looked (from experience), but it is that much tougher when it’s KIDS and not teenagers attempting this! We did have some good laughs though. I have lots of favorites from this session! So hard to narrow it down! And a good problem to have!
