First Annual SENIOR SPARKLE – {rockwall senior photographer}

I wanted to start a new tradition with my PJP Senior Model girls…. first of all, I wanted it to be a really special shoot for my current senior girls who were about to graduate.  This would be their final shoot as senior models, and their last official time together as a group.  Knowing they all would have just gone to prom a few weeks prior, I figured they all had a new long dress that they had only worn once at this point.  And we all know that it’s pretty rare that you wear a dress more than once.  I thought this would be a great opportunity for the girls to enjoy wearing their dresses again, but in a totally different setting than prom.  And I knew the girls would really “sparkle”.  🙂

Secondly, since I had already formed my new group of senior models for the upcoming school year, I wanted to include them as well.  So I asked them to wear a short dress – like something they might have worn to their homecoming dance (again, something they had likely just worn once and would have fun wearing again).

I asked everyone to wear cowboy boots (after all – what true Texas girl doesn’t have at least a pair or two in her closet!?)

At the end, we broke out some sparklers to play into our theme, and also signify the “passing of the torch” between my old senior model team and the new one.  Bittersweet but oh so fun.  I am excited to continue this tradition next year!  I feel so blessed to have such unique, special girls as part of my crew each year!

And breaking out the sparklers for our finish!  (please please no one catch on fire with all the hairspray and synthetic fabric!)
